When Fear Makes You Afraid Of Everything | FEAT. Baewolf
Fear has many survival functions and over time it's evolved to protect us in a lot of ways. In humans and most other animals, fear is modulated by the process of cognition and learning; thus fear is judged as rational and appropriate, or irrational and inappropriate specifically relating to humans. How then, is it possible to determine when your fears reside within either side of the spectrum?
Join the Wolf and Beawolf in episode 32 as they dive into the study of fear, and discuss whether the definitions of irrational fears and rational fears have much of an impact on society. They also discuss whether modern-day society is strangely addicted to the thrill of mass panic and metaphorically running for their lives.
