Leadership, Censorship, and Rules to Live By | FEAT. Sheriff Lamb

If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.
— George Orwell

America has been through some tumultuous years, and it seems as if there may be a "bumpy" road ahead. Elected or soon to elected officials, law enforcement officers, and those that give their valuable time and effort to the cause of protecting their communities have been doing their very best to fight back against the insidiousness of issues like the fentanyl drug trade, human trafficking, border issues, and more. With social and political problems growing ever more significant, it's no wonder so many of us take "sides."

In a time when the lines between good and evil seem to be getting more and more blurred, it's an absolute necessity that we, as Americans, can see past our own preferred bias to those around us, recognizing that our differences aren't what define us, but are what bring us together. Marcus Tullius Cicero once said that a "nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious, but it cannot survive treason from within." Hundreds of years later, that statement still rings true to those that listen.

Valedictorian of his training class, Rookie of the year, Officer of the year, Detective of the Year, the 24th Sheriff of Pinal County, and a man known for his "fear not, do right" attitude, the Honorable Sheriff Mark Lamb returns to the Wolf and Bull podcast for another excellent discussion in episode 73! Sheriff Lamb has been quite busy, speaking openly and earnestly about the problems that fentanyl poses to the United States of America, and his message is one of hope despite its sensitive nature.

Known for his transparency, ethical approach to law enforcement, community support, and involvement, the honorable Sheriff Mark Lamb lives up to his monicker: The 'American Sheriff'. Elected on January 1st, 2017, Sheriff Lamb currently oversees Pinal County, the third largest county in Arizona with a population of over 500,000 people. Sheriff Lamb has been featured on Fox News, NewsMax, and Live PD, and he regularly attends events around the country to speak publicly.

His newest book, "American Sheriff: Rules to Life By" further exemplifies his message of hope and provides the reader with a " clear path to your real purpose in life and the courage to make the necessary changes." In episode 73 of the Wolf and Bull, we discuss Sheriff Lambs' book(s), the fentanyl issues in the country, voting season, and the staggering effect censorship has on our society. It's a wonderful conversation and we can't wait for you to hear it!
